Teletubbyland is a found-footage digital video comprised of all the clips from the first episode of the first season of the children’s television show, Teletubbies, in which the Teletubbies themselves do not appear.  Shifting attention instead to the show’s context, Teletubbyland explores the constitution of the televisual field, discerning a dynamic tension in the very structure of the show’s setting, and revealing it’s illusionary framework to consist not only of technology’s pixels but also the syntax of fantasy and desire.
